ACTIVITY LEVELS
MOSER Active’s fully guided group tours and semi guided private tours vary in activity, duration and physical level. Each tour differs in level of difficulty and are ranked from 1 to 4 as follows:
Level 1 - Easy - Suitable for people most ages who have a basic fitness level and some outdoor experience.
Level 2 - Moderate - Suitable for people who are reasonably fit and hike at least once a month. Participants should be able to walk with their daypack (15-20 lbs) 4-8 hours a day with some strenuous ascents and descents.
Level 3 - Demanding - Regular hiking experience is required to participate in hikes at this level. Very good physical fitness and team spirit is necessary. Participants should be able to walk long distances, 4-9 hours a day, with some sections of muddy, rocky or snowy trails carrying their own backpack (22-26lbs) including personal items. Experience in multi-day trekking, camping and sleeping in a tent for multiple nights.
Level 4 - Challenging - Multi-day trekking trips, sometimes in high altitudes, for experienced trekkers who are willing to spend time in remote regions without infrastructure and contact to the outer civilization. Team spirit, tolerance and compromise are significant requirements to ensure a successful trip.
